      Clients currently receiving treatment from psychiatrist are recommended to consult with their current psychiatrist before beginning therapy.

        To build a trusting relationship with clients and to honor the Code of Professional Ethics, strict confidentiality is maintained. Disclosure of personal information requires the consent of the client (verbal or written) except in exceptional circumstances:

​

1. When there is a high risk of harming the person or others
2. When abuse or neglect of children or vulnerable people (including adults) is suspected
